FAQ
Where do you travel?
I travel throughout country Victoria, and regularly book trips around Tasmania, New South Wales and New Zealand. I am happy to travel and combine trips both interstate and internationally.
As it is lovely to stay close to home sometimes as well, I have a special price and smaller shoot packages available for local businesses in Lorne & Apollo Bay.
What do you charge?
I have the one package that includes a full gallery of all of the most beautiful photos that I get while I'm in your space. You will receive an online gallery with at least 80 photos to choose from.
$1800 + travel.
Allow a full day (10am-10am).
For local businesses and accomodation in Apollo Bay and Lorne, I offer a 'listing shoot' which will give you 25 photos to use for a property listing on airbnb or your website.
$800 (allow 3-4hrs).
* Additional photos $30
As I spend quite a few hours in your space, you will need to have your cleaner come through for a basic clean prior to having guests.
How long does it take to receive my photos?
Allow up to two weeks to receive your photos after your shoot. If I am travelling, allow three weeks.
Do you style the property?
I take photos as you have the property set when I arrive. It's really important to get the most out of your shoot that you make sure that you have gone over the property and are happy with how you have it prepared (eg. with some lovely foliage and styling props, and guest information moved out of sight).
While I'm not a stylist, during my full-day shoots, I do take photos of some natural scenes while I'm using the space (making a coffee, reading a book on the bed), little things that add character and show how people naturally use the space. If there is anything in particular that you would like me to use while there (eg. wine and cheese) they need to be left in the space for me to use.
Do I need to be there for the shoot?
For airbnbs/hosted homes, it is much (MUCH) better to be by myself for the day. I literally chase the light around the house to get the best shots and take hours doing so. The way I work means that it is really hard to work around others in the space. Most shoots that I do, I let myself into the property with guest access details.
How do I secure my booking?
After locking in our dates, I send you my quote & contract for you to have a read of and accept of you are happy with it all. I then send you an invoice for a 50% deposit to secure your booking.
We touch base again a week or two out from your shoot to arrange a time to chat, go through any questions, talk about the property and your house story.
What are your licensing terms?
You get first-party, self-promotional rights to all of the photos that I send you. This means that you can use them however you like for your own business (websites, airbnb listing, social media). As the photographer, I retain the copyright of the images, meaning that you cannot share your photos with other businesses (eg. send the photos to a linen company to use themselves, or sell the photos to another person/publication) unless we have agreed to additional terms. I am always happy to chat about any way in which you would like to use your photos, so am very happy to chat with you any time about extra usage!
Do you take photos of people too?
Yes! Although interiors is very much my focus, my photography journey began by taking photos of my babies in our little cottage . Don't hesitate to get in touch to chat about your ideas.
I have a subtle little section for these images at the end of 'My Work' page if you would like a peek.
